The Integral Development Association of La Fortuna is a non-profit organization, which, through the income received from the La Fortuna Waterfall Project, supports the well-being and development of the La Fortuna community.

The Integral Development Association of La Fortuna (hereinafter "ADIFORT") offers the service to the costumer called "Online Purchases", for which the customer must read, understand and accept the following terms and conditions of use (hereinafter the "Terms ") which are binding:

  • About the website services To make use of this online reservation service, ADIFORT enables for customers the option to buy on the website, providing the customer with comfort and agility in the purchase process. To get more details about the reservation service, prices, schedules, and others, you must enter the official waterfall website www.cataratalafortuna.com

  • About terms and conditions modifications The client understands and accepts that these Terms may be reviewed and modified by ADIFORT at any time, publishing a new version of the Terms on the website.

  • About reservation modifications The customer can make modifications to the reservation, from the moment the purchase is generated on the website, until the day scheduled for their visit to the waterfall before 5 pm. Informing beforehand by email to reception (info@catarataralafortuna.com) indicating the new selected date.

  • About canceling reservations Any refund can be applied if the client makes the request by E-mail to reception (info@catarataralafortuna.com), before 5:00 pm on the day scheduled for the visit as a deadline.

  • About No-shows to the reservations Every not-consumed reservation by the client in the scheduled date is considered "NO-SHOW" in which state it’ll have three calendar days, consecutive to the date initially chosen, to make use of it, by the customers presenting themselves at the Waterfall facilities. This applies only for the benefit of making use of the reservation and not for date modifications or refunds. Furthermore, the right is non-transferable and can only be reactivated by the person who made the reservation on the website.

  • About security measures and contingencies ADIFORT will take commercially reasonable measures to guarantee the integrity of the data, information and payments that are entered on the website when making the purchase. However, the Client understands and accepts that, being an electronic service, it implies a risk, and that ADIFORT will not be responsible for economic losses, damages or losses (of any nature) caused to the Client or third parties due to circumstances beyond its control. Control, such as computer viruses, failures in Internet communication, destruction, loss or theft of information, unauthorized access, alteration of information or misuse of information.

  • About how to use the service This Service should only be used for the client's own (individual) benefit and exclusively for lawful purposes and attached to morals and good customs; In this sense, the client, when making use of this Service, declares under oath that none of the benefits provided by this Service will be used for illicit purposes or in relation to funds related to illicit activities.

  • About false or erroneous data ADIFORT will not be responsible for any false, erroneous or inaccurate information entered by a customer when making the purchase. The client exclusively will respond and assume all responsibility for the information entered and the consequences of using it. The client, without prejudice to the eventual legal responsibility that may correspond, must hold ADIFORT and other employees of the same, totally harmless, against any kind of lawsuit, claim and procedure (administrative and / or judicial), as well as fines, penalties, convictions or any other kind of damage or harm (including legal costs and procedural expenses) that may be derived, directly or indirectly, due to said false, erroneous or inaccurate information. The client declares and agrees to be solely responsible for the information entered when using the online purchase service, and therefore exonerates ADIFORT from any responsibility, to verify or validate the veracity and / or accuracy of said information.

  • About the treatment of personal information When the Client decides to use this Online Purchase Service and enter personal information, they certify that they have been duly informed and have accepted the following:

a) That there will be a database in ADIFORT, which will be for internal use and not to commercialize the information;

b) That, however, the Client's information may be disclosed in the event that a competent authority, be it administrative or judicial, so requires ADIFORT to do so.

c) That ADIFORT does not sell, rent or share Clients' personal information with third parties in any way. By using the Online Purchase Service and entering their information, costumers certify that the inclusion of said information has been done voluntarily and with knowledge of the provisions of these Terms.

  • Validity and Termination of the contract If any of these Terms of Service are considered null or void, either in whole or in part, this will not affect the validity and enforceability of them.
